As Steven, a failed Broadway chorus boy turned stay-at-home dad, celebrates yet another birthday, he finds himself filled with fear and uncertainty. Is his partner of 16 years, Stephen, cheating on him? Is his best friend really dying? And what, exactly, has he done with his life? A portrait of a group of longtime, theater-loving friends as they navigate the many facets of midlife and mortality, Mark Gerrard's Steve is a biting and bittersweet comedy about realationships and the unavoidable consequences of aging and the passage of time.

In this GLAAD: All Access interview, writer Mark Gerrard, director Cynthia Nixon, along with members of the cast Matt McGrath, Malcolm Gets, Jerry Dixon, Ashlie Atkinson and Francisco Pryor Garat, talk about the show, marriage equality, LGBT rights, and how it reflects their own lives.

Steve opens at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre on November 18. Watch GLAAD's interview here:
