There is what comes across as something of a gaffe In the first line. &quot;Unprecedented&quot; is very much the wrong word. The amount of press on DADT was of course enormous when it was enacted, and the amount of press now is a small fraction of what it was back then.

It&#039;s a small point, but it looks lazy and slipshod coming in the first line of the story. Perhaps something more colloquial -- major, terrific, amazing, remarkable -- would work better.</description>
