Gay Bachelor, Lesbian Bachelorette?

TV Guide recently interviewed Chris Harrison, host of the Bachelor and Bachelorette programs, and a question came up about doing a same-sex version of the show.
TVGuide.com: There’s all this controversy lately over Proposition 8, the California measure barring gay marriage. Would you ever do a same-sex The Bachelor or The Bachelorette?
Harrison: If ABC and Mike Fleiss have created the show and signed off on it I’ll be happy to host.
We’re happy to hear it, Chris. Now you heard the man, ABC! Get on it!
I totally think that having a same-sex version of the show would be WONDERFUL!!.. SIGN ME UP!!..Lol! Chris, you know ELLEN would be behind you 100%!..lol!..Please consider, as many,like myself,would love the opportunity.. Thanks
