As mentioned yesterday, here’s video coverage of the Wednesday night Proposition 8 rally in New York City. At least 10,000 people attended the rally, according to reports from organizers picked up by the AP.

I noticed WAY to many people are against gay marraige. I just don’t get it. This country is not a church, so what’s it to other people? Are they jealous that the people who WANT to get married today are happier than them? I say if people are happy and in love, go for it! My mom is straight and doesn’t want me getting a girlfriend and all that… I tell her she’s just jealous. Maybe it IS all about jealousy! Why can two people who get along SOMETIMES be able to get married, but not two people who love eachother unconditionally? I guess it’s about reproduction. This of this: More homeless children (orphans, if you will) will have a better chance of getting a home if gay couples (this includes bi) were to marry and want children. Think of that… but I guess too many people are stuck up in their jealousy to see that love is love and people should accept it.
