Coming Out with… Sara Ramirez and Alec Mapa

Three more days until National Coming Out Day! In recognition of the annual event, we’re rolling out PSAs that encourage viewers to support the gay and transgender people in their lives. The spots are part of GLAAD’s ongoing “Be an Ally & a Friend” PSA campaign.
Today’s 20-second spot addresses the power of words and features a host of stars: Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy), Alec Mapa (Ugly Betty), Rebecca Romijn (Ugly Betty), TR Knight (Grey’s Anatomy), former NBA star John Amaechi and Rachel Griffiths (Brothers & Sisters).
