The Pioneer Award is given to a pioneering individual, group, or media outlet that made a significant contribution to the development of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender-inclusive media images prior to the creation of the GLAAD Media Awards.
And remember, GLAAD announced a fantastic contest to encourage people to watch the re-airing of the Media Awards on Bravo – TONIGHT, Monday, September 29th @ 6pm EST/PST and Friday, October 3nd @ 2am EST/PST – (click here for all the details).
